Teen and Young Adult Assessments

Every teen and young adult deserves clarity during life's most challenging transitions. As a parent, I understand how confusing and overwhelming it can be to watch your child struggle, especially during pivotal moments like moving from middle school to high school or preparing for college.

As a clinical psychologist, I bring a deep understanding of what families need most: accurate answers and a clear path forward. I specialize in working with teens and young adults navigating transitions, providing thorough assessments that get to the heart of what's happening so families can move forward with confidence.

With over two decades of experience as a Clinical Psychologist, I've had the opportunity to work with a wide range of populations across both non-profit and private sectors. My experience spans from learning disabilities and developmental challenges to severe mental illness, giving me a comprehensive perspective on the many ways the mind works and how we can best support it.

I completed my doctoral training in clinical psychology and have been providing assessment and guidance to families ever since. My approach is clinical and family-centered, always keeping the bigger picture in mind. I believe that when we understand the full context of a person's life, their strengths, their challenges, and their family system, we can create truly meaningful change.

My goal is simple: I want every client to walk away with diagnostic clarity and an accurate, actionable treatment plan. When you know exactly what you're dealing with, getting the right help becomes so much more efficient and targeted. There's no more guessing, no more trying interventions that don't fit. Just clear direction and real progress.

In my free time, I'm a proud mom to two grown children who are away at college (and yes, I visit them as often as I can!). I married my high school sweetheart, and we're still going strong after all these years. I'm an avid Yankees fan, originally from New York, and I love to read, experiment with new recipes, and get on my yoga mat whenever I can.
