Hello! I'm Jen, and I've dedicated the last 19  years to working in the elementary classroom. I have also helped create math curriculum, as well as coaching and supporting math teachers during the summers.

Currently, I serve as the Education Support Specialist at Mind by Design, a role I embrace with passion and dedication. What excites me about being part of the MBD team is working with a team of passionate professionals who also want to make a positive change in their community.  

Educational Background: 

I embarked on my journey in education with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and as well as a Multiple Subject Credential from California State University, Stanislaus. Several years later, I went to National University to earn my master’s and administrative credentials in Educational Administration.  My professional path began as an elementary school evolving over time to my current position as an Educational Support Specialist at Mind by Design.

Professional Passion:

At the heart of my work is a deep-seated passion that every child can learn and feel successful. I believe in using different strategies for different students, and I strive every day to create engaging lessons. My goal is to help improve students' academics and develop a love of learning. I'm constantly seeking new ways to support and empower our students with creative, hands-on approaches.
