Career Coach

Hello! I'm Savannah and I’m excited to join the Mind by Design team as an Executive Functioning Coach. I have experience providing executive functioning coaching, therapy, and psychological assessment for adolescents through adults.

Most recently, I worked as an Academic Coach at Stanford University’s Center for Teaching and Learning, specializing in supporting neurodivergent undergraduate and graduate students. I am excited to join a diverse team of professionals who are truly invested in supporting those we serve.

Educational Background:

I am a first-generation college student and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Asian American Studies from Stanford University. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Southern Methodist University. I then earned my Ph.D. in Counseling and Psychological Studies from Regent University.

Professional Passion:

My mission is to help students recognize their strengths, understand how they learn best, and develop the confidence and skills to become self-directed, lifelong learners. I take a strength-based, neuro-affirming approach to my work because I have seen that students thrive when we focus on their unique strengths and potential in addition to addressing their challenges. I help students build executive functioning skills, self-advocacy, and confidence while collaborating with families to create lasting change. Students often remember how adults made them feel long after they forget the specific advice they received. Therefore, I strive to build relationships grounded in empathy, trust, and high expectations so students feel supported, challenged, and empowered to succeed both academically and personally.

Beyond the Office:

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner and our two dogs, watching anime, reading, cross stitching, and playing video games. I also enjoy baking and volunteer for Cake4Kids.

Let's Connect:

I'm here to support you or your student with their executive functioning skills. We will work together to create and achieve your learning goals.
