“Building trust and rapport with my clients and their families is paramount to my plan of care and is one of the biggest factors for helping carry over skills learned in speech sessions to the everyday.”
Being a speech-language pathologist is a dream come true for me; I have worked with clients from age 1 to 107 and have loved it all!
I’ve served many different populations in a variety of settings, including a private outpatient clinic, skilled nursing facility/assisted living community, and schools. I earned a B.A. in French and Linguistics from UCLA and received my M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from San Jose State University.
My passions are in treating speech and language disorders across the lifespan from early intervention (0-3) to adolescents (social communication, executive functioning) and adults (aphasia, cognition, voice, dysphagia). Building trust and rapport with my clients and their families is paramount to my plan of care and is one of the biggest factors for helping carry over skills learned in speech sessions to the everyday.
I use a neurodiversity affirming approach and culturally inclusive perspective that meets clients where they are at and respects differences, instead of viewing them as deficits. I look forward to learning and growing with each of you!
