Come to Our
Office

 We create a warm, inviting atmosphere where your child will feel comfortable and confident. Parents can enjoy our waiting room while your child is with their clinician.

Conduct Cognitive
Test

We assess verbal skills, reasoning, visual-spatial skills, working memory, and processing speed with a variety of tabletop activities.

Get Your
Results

Results and feedback are immediate, and a report will be available within three days. We will send it to the school(s) of your choice.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Answering Parents’ Top Questions About
Cognitive / IQ Testing

  • You can schedule online right now here, fill out the contact form on this page, or you can call or text our office.

  • We schedule sessions for 90 minutes. Most children ages 3 – 5 finish in about an hour, and children 6+ finish in 90 minutes or less.

  • We want your child to perform their best, so yes, we offer breaks if needed. We want your child to be as successful as possible.

  • IQ tests are normed by age. If your child has the emotional and mental maturity to participate in tabletop activities with an adult for an hour, they are ready. If your child just had a birthday and you’re concerned about maturity or attention span, we can schedule for later in the admissions season. However, spots fill very quickly, so we encourage you to book an appointment now, even if you prefer to test closer to the admissions deadline.

  • We recommend telling them to think of it like school where a nice teacher will ask them to do different activities, and they just try their best. It’s a chance for them to show off all of the amazing things they know!

  • As licensed clinicians who provide treatment to children with anxiety, we know how to help kids feel comfortable. We believe it’s important to have warm-up time with children before the test using play materials or talking about their interests so that they can feel at ease and demonstrate their abilities with confidence.

    After you schedule your IQ test, we’ll send you a video to show your child that will introduce them to our space and our clinicians to help them feel more comfortable.

  • We get the most accurate results in a one-on-one setting. Parents are welcome to sit in our waiting room, the main lobby, the courtyard, or enjoy downtown Campbell.

  • We give you immediate feedback on your child’s results and with your permission, provide the report to the school(s) of your choice within 3 days of testing.
