Head east towards Los Gatos Blvd and make a left turn. Continue on Los Gatos Blvd, passing by Citi on the left, until you reach Panera Bread on your right. Use the left three lanes to turn left after Panera Bread, and then merge onto CA-17 N via the ramp to San Jose.

Follow CA-17 N for approximately 3.2 miles, until you reach the exit 25 towards Hamilton Ave. Take this exit and continue onto Creekside Way in Campbell.

Next, merge onto CA-17 N and take the exit 25 towards Hamilton Ave. After a brief 0.2-mile drive, turn left onto Creekside Way, using the left two lanes. Continue on E Hamilton Ave, passing Mountain Mike’s Pizza on your right, and make a left turn onto N 3rd St.

Drive for approximately 0.4 miles on N 3rd St, then make a right turn onto Heritage Village Ln. Finally, turn left at Heritage Village Way, and your destination, Mind by Design, will be on the right.

Background Examination

To get a better idea of who your child is, we do a thorough background check. We also take a look at their school records to gain better insight into their academic life.

Step 2

Interviews

Once we get a basic understanding of your student's background and educational experience, we interview them, you (the parent), and their educators.

Step 3

Behavior Rating Scales

Behavior rating scales give us a better understanding of your student's overall situation and potential challenges.

Step 4

Testing

Next, we conduct direct testing to analyze the students academic achievement, processing, and cognitive abilities. Typically, each test lasts two to three hours and two or three sessions.

In some cases, we will also conduct autism-specific tests as well as school observations. We'll determine which type of testing your student needs with the information we get from the interviews and behavior rating scales.

Step 5

Reporting

By gathering all the necessary information, we can thoroughly analyze the results of the test and create a detailed written report.

Step 6

Follow-Up

Finally, we use our in-depth final written report to go over our findings with you so you can better understand your child's cognitive challenges.
