Get support navigating the school system and IEP process
As a parent, you want the best for your child. However, learning differences can sometimes leave you feeling worried and unsure about where to find the right resources to help them.
Educational and IEP consulting allows you to learn from our team, who have extensive experience working within public schools and with students with learning differences. Whether we meet virtually or in person, we can help you chart a path to understand the assessments and interventions available so you can successfully advocate for your child.
Navigating the school system can be extremely challenging. Thankfully, our team has decades of experience within the school system and can provide support.
We want you to feel confident that you can help your child get the support they need.
If you need additional support and want an advocate or attorney to attend IEP meetings with you, we will provide referrals for you.
WHAT YOU GAIN FROM EDUCATIONAL AND IEP CONSULTING
We help you understand the assessments the school has done or will do and decide whether additional assessments would be helpful.
Knowledge is power; we help you create a strategic plan to navigate upcoming meetings and get the support your child needs.
To reduce your stress during the IEP process, we answer questions and empower you to work collaboratively with your school team.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING EDUCATIONAL AND IEP CONSULTING
We review and discuss your child’s needs and any past assessments and IEPs to clarify where they are now.
Learn what steps are coming up and what to discuss with your school team to meet your child’s needs.
Walk into the IEP meeting(s) prepared, confident, and ready to collaborate so your child will get the help they need.
Our practice consists of Licensed Educational Psychologists who have all worked in public education as either school psychologists or special education administrators. We have an extensive scope of knowledge from both general and special education, so we can help you navigate your situation, whether you have an IEP or not.

There’s no wrong time to receive a consultation, but a common time for parents to reach out is when they realize their child is struggling in school and they are unsure what to do about it. We help you chart a path forward while also helping you cope with any stress or anxiety you feel about getting the support services your child deserves.
We do not typically attend lEP meetings but will look at this on a case-by-case-basis. More commonly, we assist you in understanding where your child is now and what steps you can take to get them the support they need. If you need support at the IEP meeting, we’ll refer you to other professionals in our community.
