One of my passions is to work with families to learn about their child’s strengths and challenges to answer questions and provide useful solutions to help them thrive in their educational environment.

Seeing your child struggle in school can be challenging and it might feel overwhelming on where to start and where to get help. I work with families to answer questions about children’s challenges and identify learning strengths and areas of need.

I attended UC Santa Cruz, majoring in Psychology. During my time as a Research Assistant at UC Santa Cruz, I discovered the field of School Psychology and continued my education and training at Chapman University. While in my graduate program, I worked as a Behavior Therapist for an ABA company in Orange County, further providing me with experience working one-on-one with students with behavioral needs in various settings. For nearly a decade I worked as a nationally certified School Psychologist/Behavior Specialist in the Bay Area at a high school district. I had a wide variety of responsibilities, some being conducting psychoeducational evaluations for both the public and private school setting, providing direct individual and group school-based counseling services, developing a Patterns of Strengths and Weaknesses process for district school psychologists, and specializing in manifestation determination assessments including leading district school psychologists through the process. Wanting to learn more, in 2018, I completed a certificate in School Neuropsychology (ABSNP) to enhance my knowledge and expertise in conducting educational evaluations, specifically in learning disabilities (i.e., dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia) and ADHD, and other brain based learning difficulties. To put my education and knowledge into practice, I obtained my Licensed Educational Psychologist licensure in early 2019 and worked with families and children in the private practice setting to promote their growth in school.

Through prioritizing connections with families and children, I provide easy-to-understand data and practical solutions. I look forward to connecting with you soon.
